I accidentally deleted my other “about me” thingy…whoops. 

anyway, hello. I’m ani (anne, annie, ami, whatever. I’ll answer to anything that starts with an ‘a’), twenty-two twenty-three, a photography student who may or may not have a strange obsession with making books. I’m a novice printmaker, but I really enjoy the processes that I’ve learned thus far. my artwork explores mythology and memory, I used to call it memology but decided that sounds like an awful form of cancer. also, the idea of the human mythology, the individual mythology….I like creating a new feeling or world for myths to live in. I blame Neil Gaiman for these thoughts. I worked for three years at a library, and some days I really miss it. still highly considering becoming a librarian, if it happens, I hope to be like Lucien. hm. I also really love maps, natural history and really…history in general (especially of the Medieval and Russian persuasion. but as far as Russian history is concerned I’m not too keenly interested in the Soviet era, I’ve discovered.)

…um. yeah. I also watch a lot of films and most of what is posted are stills and the like. I read when I can. I’m still learning how to knit, which is sometimes a failure and other times not. I crochet. I have two beastly cats. I love mythology and folklore and languages. I love comic books…mostly from DC and DC/Vertigo. 

…that’s about it. not too horribly interesting, I’m afraid. also, I graduate in a year and that scares the shit out of me O.O
